MW harriers name leaders for ’09, note efforts of ‘excellence’

The Mound Westonka High School cross country team celebrated the end of a strong season with an awards dinner at the Gillespie Center, Nov. 6 wrapping up a winning season for the team.

Awards program caps season for White Hawks football squad

The 2008 Mound Westonka High School football season officially came to a close with their annual recognition banquet, held Nov. 6 at St. John’s Lutheran Church. Awards to letter winners as well as certificates of participation were presented to sophomore, junior and senior players who successfully completed the season.

Westonka 7th-grade gridders post a 6-1 record for 2008

Notching three shutout victories in the process, the Westonka 7th-grade football program posted a record of six wins against one loss in the 2008 season.
