At Northwestern College
Annalisa J Koehler, of Minnetonka Beach, was named with Highest Honors to the fall semester dean's list at Northwestern College in St. Paul.
The dean's list includes full-time students with a grade point average (GPA) during the semester of 3.65 (out of 4.0) or higher.
Koehler is pursuing a degree in public relations at Northwestern.
At Univ. of St. Thomas
The following area students were named to the dean's list at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, for the 2010 fall semester: Kaitlyn Dunsmore, Maxwell Rothstein, Adrienne Schneider, Kelly Tonnemaker, and Anne Traynor of Shorewood; Kendall Seamans of Tonka Bay; Mark Banks, Samantha Kunz, Kelsey Willits of Long Lake; Stephanie Renckens of Orono; Amber Bickel, Timothy Sandquist, and Benjamin Weber of Maple Plain; Michael Foerster, Jesse Forsell, Matthew Myers, Chad Richards, Blake Roeglin, and Jenna Schermerhorn of Mound; Kirsten Lederer of Minnetrista.
At Grinnell College
Lee A. Purvey has been named to the Grinnell College (Iowa) dean's list for the fall semester 2010.
Purvey is one of 285 students honored for outstanding academic achievement by Grinnell College.
Purvey is the child of Anthony C. Purvey and Denise J. Markus of Mound.
At UM-Morris
Madeline Burghardt of Minnetrista, has been named to the University of Minnesota-Morris dean's list for the 2010 fall semester.
At UND
Lucas Skjaret of Long Lake and Daniel Flatten of Mound have each been named to the dean's list at the University of North Dakota for the 2010 fall semester.
At Creighton Univ.
Megan Kuntuzos of Mound, a sophomore studying business adminstration at Creighton University in Omaha, Neb., was named to the fall dean's list for the 2010-2011 academic year.
At MSU-Moorehead
Mitch Biebighauser of Tonka Bay, majoring in legal studies and philosophy; has been named to the Minnesota State University-Moorhead dean's list in recognition of academic achievement fall semester 2010.
At St. Olaf
The following area students were named to the St. Olaf College dean's list for the fall 2010 semester: Rachel Turbeville of Mound, daughter of Brian and Ann Turbeville; Lauren Anderson of Long Lake, daughter David and T. Lindsay Anderson; Lydia Kantor of Long Lake, daughter of Robert and Monique Kantor; Erin Lips of Orono; daughter of Daniel and Martha Lips.
At St. Anselm
Sally Persons, a politics major, of Independence was named to the dean's list for the first semester of the 2010-11 school year at Saint Anselm College, Manchester, NH.
At Gustavus Adolphus
Minnetrista residents Allie Schulte, a senior nursing student, and Anna Schulte a freshman student, both at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter each made the school's dean's list for the fall 2010 semester.
