We want your listings!

Listings for the community calendar are free, but not guaranteed. We encourage you send us your listings of upcoming events and we will do our best to include them.

Send your event information with the date, time, place, ticket prices or fees, and a point of contact with a phone number. The deadline is one week prior to publication, but the sooner we receive the information the better - we recommend submitting your information two-three weeks prior to the event or activity.

PET ADOPTION - Volunteers from the Carver Scott Humane Society will hold a pet adoption from noon to 3 p.m. at PETCO, in Eden Prairie located off of Singletree Lane, between Prairie Center Drive and Hwy. 212. All cats and dogs have been micro-ID-implanted, vet checked, wormed, had shots updated, checked for friendly temperaments, and age appropriately spayed/neutered.   • Minnesota Crime Wave - Jan. 19, 6:30-8 p.m., mystery writers Ellen Hart, Carl Brookins and William Kent Krueger, known collectively as Minnesota Crime Wave, will discuss the foibles and follies of writing mysteries.
