For their Christmas project this year, students at Zion Lutheran School in Mayer collected items to send to soldiers who are either stationed overseas or on a base in the United States. The kids brought in items such as chips, candy, batteries, gum, powder drinks, etc. The children collected enough items to send out 14 boxes to men and women from their community who are serving the country through the military.
