FILM & DISCUSSION - West Lake Progressives will host a viewing of “Uncounted,” David Earnhardt’s controversial documentary about election fraud in the United States. Jennifer Jewell Thomas, a member of the Organizing Committee of Citizens for Election Integrity - Minnesota, a non-partisan, statewide group that advocates for verifiable and accurate elections, will lead a discussion following the film. POP SINGERS PERFORMANCES - The MWHS Pop Singers Hello Shows ares set for both nights at 7:30 p.m.in the Little Theater at the High School. Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. The Hello Shows are the first official performance of the new season’s show by the 2008-2009 Pop Singer cast. This year’s theme is “Heart and Music” and the show will feature a line-up of popular favorites including a set from the movie “Mama Mia.”

BAZAAR - The Bethel United Methodist Women will host their 83rd annual bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the church, 2116 Commerce Blvd., in Mound. CHAMBER TRICK OR TREAT - The Long Lake Area Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with The Long Lake Fire Department and local area businesses will host a trick or treating event for children ages 10 and under from 10 a.m. to 1 pm. Children dressed in their Halloween costumes will be provided with a map of local businesses that will be handing out treats that day. Participants will start at the Long Lake Fire Department where they can get their face painted, get a balloon, pick up a treat bag and their map of the participating businesses. TREK TO THE DECK - To raise awareness of the needs of people in the Westonka area at risk of losing their homes and to help them get back on their feet, the Western Communities Action Network (WeCAN), will sponsor its second “Trek to the Deck” benefit walk, from 12:30-4 p.m. The “Trek” will begin at the Mound Parking Deck and follow a two-mile round trip circuit. At the conclusion of the walk, participants and community members at large are being invited to take in a variety of games, free entertainment, food and a silent auction at the parking deck. FALL FESTIVAL - St. Peter’s Lutheran Church of Watertown, 3030 Navajo Ave., (three miles east of Watertown on Carver County 24), will be hosting a Fall Festival from 3 to 6 pm.
